The Popularity Of Blue, And Bardiglio Marble

Whether you consider it a blue or a grey, Bardiglio Marble has gained in popularity over the past year. Bardiglio Marble has a blue grey base tone with subtle movement, similar to a flowing river dancing through a mountainous cavern. Small areas of white are sometimes present, like the white peaks of the river’s roaring rapids.

We are excited to offer this natural stone in slabs, field tile, and mosaics.

Where Can I Use Bardiglio Marble?

Bardiglio is perfect for any style of home when designing with grey or blue tones. Slabs of Bardiglio can cover countertops and Bardiglio mosaics can embellish the walls of your bathroom, your kitchen backsplash, or add interest to the floor of your master bath or powder room. We are pleased to have a complete Bardiglio collection with real marble and porcelain tile options that coordinate with this striking stone.

Is Bardiglio Marble Durable?

Similar to other marbles, Bardiglio can be scratched, stained and etched, so be sure to seal your material to protect against such damage. Remember though, these marble characteristics are normal attributes and should be considered and should not necessarily deter you from choosing marble for your kitchen or bathroom project. Just as fine leather can scuff, scratch and be cut, due to its natural attributes, we do not rule it out as an option for our handbags or shoes. Since wear to leather is accepted and understood, we should consider scratches and wear to our marble in the same way.
